United Teaching is the initial teacher training scheme for United Learning, a national group of over 80 schools across England. With us, you can achieve your PGCE and QTS with extensive support from professional mentors, tutors and subject specialists. You can continue your career in United Learning, with opportunities for training, mentoring and progression from your NQT year and beyond.

Applications for September 2021 are opening in NOW OPEN! We’re so excited to start recruiting a brand-new cohort of trainee teachers. We’ve put together this quick guide to help you through the process, so that you’re ready to apply next week:

 

Do you have the right qualifications for teacher training?

The requirements for teacher training in England often vary between providers, which can be confusing if you’re trying to work out if you’re eligible or not. The first thing to clarify is the difference between the government requirements and the requirements of individual teacher training providers.

 

Switching careers to teaching

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a career that makes a meaningful difference to thousands of lives? Or perhaps you’re after a challenge, a job which pushes you to grow and develop, whilst rewarding you every day?
